The Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program

Programs can be conducted in small groups at an agency, community center, or at a church. Classes are taught in a series of 9 lessons. Each class is 60-90 minutes per session.  EFNEP provides 9 fun-filled sessions with hands-on cooking, money savings activities, recipes, physical activity, and more. In each lesson, the participants take home a kitchen tool to enhance the topics learned that day.

Groups can be organized with the following:

  • A group of friends or relatives can request classes
  • Organizations can sponsor a group to be held at their site or another community site
  • Churches can support a group
  • We are also able to help locate a convenient site for you or your group
