The winners will be awarded a market hog to be taken as a project and shown at the Stark County Fair in 2026. The pigs will be donated by the Krug Family and will be ready for the exhibitors in the spring, sometime in May.

This self-paced, on-demand course is for any farmer looking to improve their understanding and application of valuable farm financial and risk management documents. Completion of the course meets the requirements of Ohio House Bill 95 Beginning Farmer Tax Credit programand the Borrower Training Requirements for the U.S.D.A. Farm Service Agency’s Direct Farm Loan Programs This 10-module course includes video lessons from Ohio State’s farm management instructors, quizzes, and exercises that prepare documents for these programs. Estimated time for completion is 20-24 hours.
