MASSILLON, Ohio- Ohio State University (OSU) Extension of Stark County will host a Winter Agronomy Series at the RG Drage Career Technical Center in Massillon beginning January 30. This educational series includes three sessions designed to assist, support and educate local agronomic crop and forage producers on timely topics and on-farm research opportunities.
The first program in the series will take place on Wednesday, January 30 with registration and refreshments at 5:00pm and the program starting at 5:30pm. Dr. Mark Loux, Professor of Weed Science at The Ohio State University will engage with producers on the topic of weed management and include an herbicide update. Participants registering for this session have the opportunity to purchase a 2019 copy of the OSU Extension Weed Control Guide. Interested producers can register by contacting the Extension office at 330-832-9856, ext. 3465 by Friday, January 25.

There is no charge for the series, however registration is requested for each program to best accommodate for handouts, materials, and supplies. Those interested are welcome to attend one or all three of the programs. The series will be held at the RG Drage Career Technical Center, Morgan Hall Conference Center located at 2800 Richville Dr. SE, Massillon, OH 44646.
