anyone can learn to help prevent suicide.
Just as people trained in CPR to help save thousands of lives
each year, people trained in QPR learn how to help someone in
crisis seek the support they need.
What individuals will learn:
• How to ask directly if someone is thinking about suicide
• The common causes of suicidal behavior
• The warning signs of suicide
• How to get help for someone in crisis
Why participate?
Suicide prevention happens in everyday conversations with
ordinary people. With the number of individuals that die by
suicide each day, there is a high probability that you will come in
