2024 Stark County Quality Assurance Programs and Test Out Date pre-registration
QA Program completion deadline for Stark County completion is June 1, 2024- REQUIRED!!

1) 2024 Stark Co QA Test Out Date- Thursday, March 7 at Jr Fair Office at 6pm.

Please note that the test out option is only available to youth age 12 and older as of January 1, 2024, MUST be
enrolled in second year and up for a livestock project. NOT available to 1st year livestock members any age.
QA Test Out Requirements
o Must be a Stark County 4-H member in at least their SECOND year taking a livestock project.
First year livestock project members are not eligible to test out.
o Must be a Stark County 4-H member aged 12 and older as of January 1, 2024 to atempt a one-
time test out for 2024 of their annual QA program.
Youth ages 12-14 who pass the QA test can test out of their annual QA program for up to 3
years (or until 4-H age 15 – then must take the older age Test Out Option).
Youth ages 15-18 who pass the QA test can test out of their annual QA program permanently.
o Stark County 4-H Members must complete pre-registration to qualify for the QA Test Out
Option.
o 4-H Members can only take the test once per year and must score 70% or higher to test out. If
a 70% score is not achieved, the member must attend a 2024 QA session.
