OSU Extension Stark County will offer private pesticide and fertilizer applicator recertification in 2021. All courses at this time will be offered virtually beginning the week of February 22 and will be offered additionally the week of March 22 and April 22. All private applicators will be receiving a letter in the mail detailing from our office with your options and the process in the next 2 weeks (based on mail delivery). ****OSU Extension Seeking Student Interns****
Up to six student interns will be hired to support educational programming and community engagement. The interns will work directly with Extension professionals and staff in Columbiana, Stark, and Mahoning Counties to address community-based issues. The interns will assist with educational materials, conducting community-based programs, and participate in professional and public meetings. Students will work up to 38 hours per week.

The USDA Summer Food Service Program (SFSP) was established to fill the gap when children lose access to meals when schools are closed. Most often this occurs during summer vacation. However, during school closures related to the pandemic, meals are also being made available. You have the opportunity to supplement the food you have at home with meals and snacks for your children from local schools and community organizations.
